I established The Transition Helper to assist with the overwhelming process of downsizing and moving. Offering services to facilitate seamless transitions and organized living, I prioritize both the practical and emotional aspects of your journey, ensuring a smoother experience for you.
A member of NASMM (National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers), I provide compassionate downsizing, move management, and settling services for seniors. A Bay Area native, Smith College graduate, veteran of Silicon Valley’s tech industry and a pioneer in socially responsible business, I now focus on forging partnerships to provide needed services to families in our community.
I moved houses more than 20 times before settling in Castro Valley, CA with my husband and two children in 2018. Relocating frequently taught me how to let go of attachments, while piquing my interest in home design, real estate, and home organization.
My family lives on a minimalist path, evaluating the objects we bring into our home while finding strategies to let go of what no longer serves us.
Helping others through their own life transitions is what brings me joy.
